Account passwords are not visible and cannot be emailed from the system for privacy and security reasons, but managers and admins can reset their own passwords using the Forgot Password link on the login page or from their profile if they have permission to edit their own account.
There are two email fields on manager and admin profiles, Email Address and Account Email:
- Email Address: Addresses in this field will receive shop-related emails. Multiple addresses can be added, separated by commas.
- Account Email: The email address of the account owner. This is the point-of-contact for emails from the system, like password reset emails. If there is an email address in this field, all such emails will go to it. If there is not one, system emails will instead be sent to the first address in the Email Address field.
Note that if a manager account is Disabled, password reset emails will not be sent out for that account.
