With External Collaboration you can collaborate with a mystery shopping company that is not on the Sassie platform.

For details on how to collaborate with a company that is on the platform, please see the Collaboration article.

Get started on the main Admin Page.

There is no need to preselect a client and a survey, you can simply use the QuickJump bar and look up External Collaboration.

First, select a client and a survey you want to create the links for.

The links can be created for the Entire Company, you can select the level/location from the dropdown, or manually enter specific location IDs. Hit the View button to view the links.

The page will update with a list of locations for which the links will be generated, alongside an Options button.

Using the Options button will open a new page, allowing you to customize some of the settings.

Checking the Generate jobs checkbox will generate jobs for the selected locations, and they will be set to the New status.

Once a created link is clicked, it will be linked to the created job - no new jobs will be created in the process. A Due Date is required for this option to be used.

There is no way to go back and generate jobs for links that have already been created. For instance, if you created a link for a location, and then try to use this checkbox on the same location, a new link will be created.

Please use with caution, as there is no other way to remove the jobs but manually.

Not Checking the Generate jobs checkbox will create a job only when the link is clicked.

In other words, if you need the jobs to be created on the spot, you would not use the checkbox. This then creates the job at the moment the link is used.

On the other hand, if you want to create the jobs in advance (so you can assign them a Due date, for an example), you would use the Generate jobs checkbox. This means that the jobs will be created in advance, and when the link is used, it will simply open a pre-created job.

If you are using Waves, you can check the Assign jobs to a wave checkbox. This will assign the created jobs to the selected wave, but please keep in mind this option is only usable in combination with the Generate jobs checkbox.

The Assign dates section allows you to assign dates to the created jobs, and all the jobs will have the same dates.

Keep in mind that these options can be set only if Generate jobs checkbox is checked. Additionally, if a Report Date is not selected, it will be the same as the Due Date.

To set the Reply-To address on the sent emails, input an address into the Email link 'reply-to' text field.

The email will be set as Client Contact <no-reply@yoursystemdomain.com>.

However, if a reply button is pressed in the received email, the email that appears will be the one specified in this e-mail field. You can adjust the Client Contact email field in the Client settings.

Using one of the radio buttons in the Email links to section will send links, and the access codes, to the managers of the selected level. The emails will be sent only to the primary managers, and each manager will receive only one email containing one or more links.

Once the emails have been sent, a summary email will also be sent to the manager initiating the emails.

Once you are content with the selection, use the Process Options button to create the links.

To get an export of the links created, use the Export button.

A link to download an Excel file with the links will be provided once created.
