The Bulk Location Group Importer allows you to add locations to ULGs, Groups as well as to create new sets as Circuit sets.



To get to the Location Group Admin page, start at the main Admin Page. 

In both cases, you will need to select a client, and then you can either head to the Clients tab and use the Add/Edit Locations link, or simply use the Quick Jump bar!


Once there, select Unlimited Location Groups option from the Levels & Groups dropdown and hit the GO button.



On the Location Group/Circuit Administraion page, ou will find the Import/Export section below the Circuit sets.



There are three options you can choose from, depending on your needs.


Bulk Location Groups/Circuits Import

Using this button will open the Bulk Location Group Importer, allowing you to upload ULGs or Circuits. 



There are three radio buttons you can select:

  • You would use the first one when you are adding a location to the ULG and Groups, and both already exist for your Client.
  • Use the second button if you want to create Groups you have previously added to the template file.
  • The last option should be used when you want the importer to create both ULGs and Groups you added to the template file.



Bulk Location Groups (ULG) Export

Using this button will download a .csv file with the information on your ULGs and Groups.

The file contains Location ID, Location Name, Group Set and the Group, but will also let you know is the Location active or inactive.



ULG/Circuit Template

Using the button will automatically download the ULG/Circuit Template you can also get from the Support Tracker page.



After you fill in the file following instructions, simply save it as a Tab-Delimited Text file. You can then use that file in the Bulk Location Group Importer!
