Once you have your Client and Survey set up, you will most likely want to customize your Dragon Dashboard.

In this help file, we will go through the layout settings in some detail.

Logo

If uploaded, your Client's logo will show on the top left of the layout. It's important to note that the Chameleon logo, if uploaded, will override the Large logo, and the Large logo will override the Small logo.

Dragon header links (Quicklinks)

You can read on the functionality of each of the four links in more details in their respective help articles: Logs, Locations, Classic Reports (remember that you need to have the reports activated!), and Media Gallery.

These links can be hidden or shown by enabling or disabling the "Dragon Header links" option in the Client and Form settings page. If you have the links enabled, you will be able to rename the label for Classic reports as well.

Tabs

There are four tabs available for you to customize.

Double-clicking on the tab label will allow you to rename the tab, while double-clicking the icon will allow you to show or hide the tab.

As we can see in the example above, the "Locations" tab has been renamed to "Click me!", the "Trending" tab is showing (green eye icon) and the "Surveys" tab has been strike-through, meaning that the tab is currently hidden from view.

Distribution and Sharing

There are three icons that will allow you to Distribute, Share or generate a link to the View on the layout. You can find further details on each in the Distribution and Sharing help article.

Clicking the chain icon will allow you to generate a link to Dragon View for any non-Sassie user, as well as export it if you want to copy a View.

On the other hand, clicking the Distribute or Share icons will allow you to e-mail the View or set its viewability.

Views

When you first view a page in Dragon, the View will default to a "Default" one. You can use the View dropdown to add, edit, delete or simply manage your Views.

For more detailed explanation about the possible customizations, you can read the View management help article.

Download Dragon

Using the Download icon will prompt a pop-up box directing you to our new Dragon Dashboard app!

You can also download the app directly, or read up on it first.

Filtering

When you first view a page in Dragon, the view will all be set to the default survey for the most recent date range that there is data. All widgets that have not been set to a specific survey or date range will display data from the Global Settings. Once you are looking at a view, you can use the Page Setting Gear to adjust all widgets in a view that are using Global Settings.

Clicking the gear icon will open a new set of filters, allowing you to customize the view even further.

You can filter which date range is being displayed, which survey to display the data for, which level to filter results for, and even which group or ULG to filter by. If applicable, you will also be able to filter by waves.

It is important to note that while just having ULGs is enough for the ULG filter to be active, an additional setting needs to be enabled for the Wave filter to show. To enable it, you will need to have "Wave Reporting" report enabled for the Client.

View Details

There are a couple of extra links and details available to you below the layout.

Client and Survey: a manager will the proper permission will be able to click the survey link to see its form.

Account: if the manager has a proper permission, they will be able to edit their account after clicking the link.

Location visibility: this setting depends on the manager level as well as the "Dragon Entire Company restriction" permission that can be checked or unchecked in the Dragon part of the "Client and Form settings", per Client.

Date: the date shown here matches the date chosen in the filter.

Evaluation: since both the chosen level and the date influence the evaluation count, this label ensures a quick and easy way to check those numbers as well.

Other settings

There are a couple of extra settings you can use to further customize your Dragon dashboard. You can find these settings in the Client and Form Settings page.
